That patch of grass nest to Freight's has been locked! I heard that this is due to one surfing indivdual being unreasonable and so now the grass is locked to all. Nice move ace!
The gossip goes that one early riser has been blasting music and slamming doors. Now peopl, Freight's bay is in a residential area and so we surfers try our best to be cool and nice to everyone since all those ouses have people who live in them and we know that we would not likeloud music and door slamming in our back yard.
As a surf instructor and being seen at Freight's everyday some of the neighbors asked me if I was to blame but I have my little parking spot and everyone knows I am normal and have some respect. I was also asked if I knew who this particular car belonged to and if I could talk to the guy and make him see sense. I had not the time to go reasoning with a man. I heard next that after a phone call from the house owner to the individual that nothing was solved since the van and loud music and door slamming continued. In a last resort now the home owner has been left with no choice but to lock the grass to all so that they can enoy the sleep that they need without being disturbed.
Surfer's we are better than this, infact we all are its just one individual spoiling it for the rest of us. no wonder surfers are thought of so poorly. guys get it together and if in doubt ask the question dont just assume tht parking is free everywhere and respect peoples homes as you would have respect giving to you at your home.
