Folk's good morning and sorry for my absence. The wave's have been too good lately to find a spare moment to report back.
The South coast of our little island has been alive with wave's. South Point has had a few moments where its has been enjoyable but as usual has it's crowd's too. Freight's Bay has been fantastic for beginner's and also for the beginner/ intermediate surfer too. Now, lot's of folks's will disagree with me over this but I believe Brandon's or the Drill Hall to be a far superior break than South Point in Oistins. This I base on the consistancy of Drill Hall/Brandon's. South Point is only ever at it's best a few times a year and all the time inbetween it is just never good enough.
Brandon's has had the better part of this most recent swell and again is continueing today witha set wave just head high of more. It's still too small to be hollow ( a benefit of South Point) but its is giving a good push and allowing room for good solid turn's. Longboarding has been great lately but having a ding in my board means that it is shortboard time for the rest of the day.
