Being an instructor of one of the best or finest surf school's on the island, or so I believe, has been one of the most fulfilling adventures I have ever embarked upon. It has allowed me to draw upon the knowledge and skills that I have accumulated over the years and not just from school but from life experince and what little travel I have done. If I were to look back a few years at where I was and what I wanted I would never have thought that I would be so lucky as to find myself today doing something that I enjoy so much, surfing!
Everyday I get to meet new people and share things with them as they do with me while passing on the enjoyment of the sport I so love. Teaching is a gift and one of the faces of human nature. Surfing is not the easiest of sports to learn or perfect but being able to offer instruction and or a little nudge in the right direction can bring so many people the joy and pleasure that comes from learning to surf.
At our surf school we offer our services to beginners, intermediates and those advanced. whether it be in the form of surf lessons at the surf school, wave reports and tide times or break location and information we like to be on hand all day for the local surfer or traveling surfer. welike to think of ourselves as the local knowledge provider you can trust.
The Surf In Barbados surf school is a part of the Dread Or Dead surf shop and so we carry a full line of Surftech and Tuflite surfboards. Longboards, shortboards, mini mals, fish and guns can all be found in our surf shop. Bodyboards, skimboards and all the accessories to go with the sport of surfing and most activities found in the water or at the beach are all in the dread Or Dead surf shop. Ricky Carroll and T. Patterson fibre glass or polyester surfboards also fill our racks in the shop.
We have enjoyed our past years of service to the local industry and look forward to offering our services for many years to come.
