This weekend just passed some of the team threw a little gathering on the beach where everyone could get some serious skimboarding done.
The gathering was small but everyone seemed to be having a great time. Folks brought down their families. Little dudes like Axe Garrett and Tai Garrett were there throwing down their best moves. Daniel was poking and sticking shuv'its a plenty. Mark the shark got hooked on the sport while Jay Garrett despite landing quite hard on his face was convincing in his show of airs and spins with huge slashes all over the show. The BBQ was hot and burgers, pork and fish was the best source of nourishment on the day. The cooler was depleated of all drinks fairly quickly but Boss to the rescue, Russell Garrett turned out with liquids.
Just wanted to thank everyone for turning out and for those who could not make it you missed out. Skimboarding is the new again thing to do when the waves go flat. Be a sand surfer and rip it up!
