The legendary Soup Bowl has been the place to be most of last week. There was a hint of North swell pushing and moving around last week, in the words of a traveling surf turned the Soup Bowl from a solid wave when it has size to a technical wave that’s hits harder than any of the worlds best break. It’s always nice to have someone who has surfed all over the world best breaks when big swells are around comment on the quality of the wave in your back yard. Most of the team managed to get over there and enjoy some of the action. Two team members managed to grab the very last of the West coast action early last week. The report was that is was not big by any means but just amazingly perfect conditions allowing them to get barrel after barrel after barrel!
One team member managed to get over to Soup bowl on this Sunday just passed or yesterday. It was almost an old pals reunion when dudes like Mark “The Shark” Reeves, Craig and Stanley Brooker turned out. The waves were super small and less than perfect so the guys got together the longboards and hit the water to get wet. The session ended up being a fantastic one with lots of smooth flowing moves and some awesome nose riding. As per always the Soup Bowl never lets you down!
There is supposed to be a bit more North swell action on its way, not huge but good, so lets hope for plenty more of the same as we had last week.
See you in the line up!
