Congratulations to Jay Garrett for his 1st place in the longboarding division in the BSA surfer of the year event 3. Held at the Soup Bowl on the the east coast of Barbados in waves a little under shoulder high. The wind was medium to strong and not as clean as perhaps some competitors would have liked. All competitors put on sterling performances with Lewis St. John taking top honours in the open, U16 and U18 divisions. Ametza Nicholls took 1st place in the ladies while Elvis Carter cmae first in the masters division.
The turn out was small but the beach vibe was fantastic! Thank you BSA and big comgrats to Jay Garrett surfing for team Dread Or Dead surf shop.
