Surf report for today Tuesday 20/5/2008 is kinda windy and choppy around the south coast not really worth getting the shortboard out. beginners will love Freight's Bay long tiny lines easy to catch and rol all the way to shore on. If desperate and without east coast transport Brandons or South Point will just about save you with a get wet session 1ft to 1'6" set waves. East coast should have been the stuff yesterday evening but not during the earlier part of the day. It's alittle windier today so again no need for the excursion to commence to soon have lunch and then decide.
Now this isn't everyones cup of tea but when the surf is flat or just no good go Skimboarding. Yesterday was awesome Kane and I managed to get two separate hour long sessions in the water at Carlisle Bay and both were fantastic. We are talking long waves big spray and air and barrels too!
Until this shore break is over and the waves are good you will not being seeing me in the line up but on the beach skimming.
