Waves in Paradise

Sunday morning was one of those days where i could have quite happily laid in bed all day. The weekend had been busy wit party after party that had to be attended. Early morning around 10am my eyes opened and I was waiting for that first wave of a hang over to wallop me. It never came. I got out of bed to an empty house. My better half had already left for the gym. At a loose end I was and seaching for something to do with the time constraints of the day. Surf! This is why surfing is the greatest sport in the world. To go the the beach and surf all you need to do is brushyour teeth. In the car and boards loaded. The car was full of gas and so where to go a surf. I knew that Soup bowl was the best option but with a steady breeze already blowing it was going to be choppy. I knew I could probably find waves as good somewhere closer to home. On the south coast I by passed Surfer's Point just beacause it is never any good this time of year or anytime of year. It's not really a surfing break its closer to a washing machine. South Point was again to windy and so i found myself at Brandons. A couple of feet and clean it was a perfect Sunday wave. I took the longboard out and waged war upon Brandons for 2 hours. Lefts and right a plenty. The wave was also opening u and allowing extra long nose rides. That morning really made me realise that Barbados is a tropical paradise and the waves we get are jt great all the time. even if they are not over head they are always still fun. It's hard to get days without waves.
