This morning 0500 at Brandons the waves are still around just not nearly as big as yesterday. There was a low tide this morning however the reange of the tide is small today and so was a higher tide than usual and it will probably stay that way most of the day. The wind was howling this morning and has since dropped. Look for the swell to improve slightly this afternoon and late in the evening. Brandons is the best break on the south coast. It takes something special to make other breaks perform as well as Brandons and if they ever do you can bet that the west or the east is fantastic. South Point will always face the wind and Surfers Point should be called Kiters Point with all that wind except for those two days a year that are great and the only place to surf.
