Dudes! Where did all of that swell for the south come from?
Whos cares it was great. For two days Brandons had all the waves a nobody to surf them. Now folks I am gonna tel you that I was all over the south coast litening to to all the usual, "South Point is the place to be."
All wrong. Brandons was wind free and clean and maybe over 5ft on the better set waves. I surfed with a fella on the Thursday and it was super cool. Hang ten was the standard move for the day and longboards look too cool with a back hand air!
Friday, was the day after my stag do and it was a bit fuzzy.
After a full english breakfast I was back I action. The surf was even better than the day before. Nobody can touch you on a longboard and so although there were a few more surfers it was as if nobody were there at all.
The surf was blitzing and the lesson sessions were moved to Frieghts Bay. Keep and eye on the south and see what comes.
