I went over to the East coast yesterday and got a morning dip with a mate of mine Stuart. I really just felt like the drive and was not expecting to much but as per usual was ever optimistic. Upon arrival at Soup Bowl Ashley Farmer was hanging out on the beach with his kite kit and seemed to be as much at a loose end as we were. After the drive we had to go in a get wet and see if there was anything ridable or at least chat for an hour and kill some time pretending to surf. In the water there were waves a little confused but still waves. As the sessions moved on the wind picked up and it began to rain and then more wind and more rain. a wasted drive? No. It was just nice to be somewhere different. Looking forward a few days and Wednesday is the day to surf. See you in the line up.
