Whats new?
Nothing to much going on at the moment. The last swell to pass through was exactly what was expected and nothing like what was needed. It was small choppy and just stayed that way. Like a fool I chased after it ever second I had, which was not as often as I would have liked. I was kept busy with surf lessons which is great. The beginners I have seen lately have really been kicking some tail!
Maybe I am just that damn good!
The groups have been really cool and we've accomplished a lot very quickly. Freights has been the place to be for beginners lately. Most ever day there is a foot or so of wave and find the right one and it will take you all the way to the bottom of the bay. I managed to catch a couple of crafty ones and throw some moves too.
So swell is supposed to be on the way so I am waiting on that and hoping that it is a bit better than last time.
Skimming has been the only thing keeping me fit lately and for that I have been hanging out in Carlysle Bay by the Hilton. Summer time isnt quite here yet but when it does arrive lets hope that it brings perfect summer waves.
