The surfer Kids got off to a great start 2 days before the contest.clean 2-3 ft wed ,thurs 3-4ft then Friday 6-8 ft .Too Much for Axe so we pulled him out .he didn't mind as he is on Daniels Dread or Dead skate team .Saturday came first day of the contest small and week ,perfect for the kids.they all had a ball except the skaters .Apparently the BSA forgot to inform the police about the skate ramps next to the road and the whole thing was closed down after a car and an old lady were attacked by out of control rider-less skate boards .Far to dangerous.Then Sunday it went off 8-10 ft solid clean only the best were left standing ,The juniors were quickly finished off and an open contest was started,well done Simon Coles.BSA Big Man,as i predicted in my dread or dead blog prior to the contest Chelsea Rouett cleaned up the girls and Daniel Edghiel mashed up the boys.Back to the 8-10 ft + open soup bowl.Guys that will be remembered Sam Taylor best ever performance.Peter Hill always solid.Yella good performance,Boju right up there.And then the BIG surprise Daniel Edghil 14 yrs Old puts on the show of his life right there and then with all the big boys showing no fear or quarter for the bowl,Sam and Danny have been the most talked about surfers on the day amd definitely put on a great show of Bajan surf talent .I'm looking for bigger things from Daniel ,Sam is a great surfer but I'm not sure if contest are his bag.I nearly forgot Malcolm Hunte paddled out parlor's on his long board and dropper some BOMBS i understand he was on fire some guys are saying 12ft + ,nice one Malcolm good to see the long boarders getting some respect.Russell
