SURF SCHOOL :Barbados

I must apolagise to everyone that reads the blogs for not keeping you all up to date, The excuse is simple ,just way to busy ,after answering all the e-mails morning and evening writing the surf report for surfline Brandons every day. Work all day in the wonderful sunshine. The last thing that comes to mind is the surf blog on surfinbarbados, However the month of April is coming to a close and things are starting to slow down a bit so here i am giving everyone an up date. The waves have been great from early November to April. Surf on the south coast has been one of the best years for a long time. Up until this week Brandons surfed in the 3-4 ft range constantly with some 4-6 ft weeks. The west coast has also been good and provided some good weeks it probably broke 25 % of the time. good north swells giving the west 4-6 ft consistantly and some 6-8 ft weeks super clean . The Summer is now upon us and the East coast is starting to open up i surfed it last week on a surf tour 3-4 ft clean great fun and Axe and myself went over on sunday evening but it was not quite as good 2-3 ft choppy. Most surf lessons are now being held at Brandons.Drill Hall as pebbles is getting a bit too small even for a surf lesson. Word of advise SUNBLOCK , the summer sun in Barbados can be brutal. Russell
